About the product
Washed sand 0–5 mm is the finest fraction produced when stone is crushed and screened. It is scrubbed on a second screen, giving premium-grade sand free of dust and clay particles.
Being clean and uniform, washed sand bonds well with cement in concrete and mortars and gives consistent results in paving tile and precast production.

From quarry to finished product
Washed sand 0–5 mm goes through the following stages on its way from the quarry to the customer.
Stage 1
Drilling and blasting
Rock at the quarry is loosened by drilling and blasting, using two modern drilling rigs purchased by Uzbekistan Railways JSC.
Stage 2
Excavation and haulage
The blasted rock is loaded by excavators and hauled by dump trucks to the crushing and screening plant.
Stage 3
Primary crushing
Raw rock is fed into a jaw crusher and broken into large pieces.
Stage 4
Secondary crushing
A cone crusher reduces the stone to fine fractions and evens out the grain shape.
Stage 5
Screening
Screens grade the crushed stone into fractions from 25×60 down to 5×10.
Stage 6
Washing
Fine fractions are washed with water to remove dust and clay particles. The 0×5 fraction is scrubbed on a second screen and becomes sand.
Stage 7
Laboratory control
In the company's testing laboratory the density, strength and grading of every batch are tested to GOST standards.
Stage 8
Loading and delivery
Finished product is loaded into dump trucks by front-end loaders and delivered to the agreed address.
